Pasig City mayoral aspirant Sarah Discaya has vowed to provide livelihood opportunities to Pasigueño families if elected in the upcoming midterm elections.

Discaya, a successful businesswoman who rose from humble beginnings, said she believes in the talent and ability of every Pasigueño.

“A shortage of talent has never been a hindrance in achieving our dreams. The only thing missing is the doors that need to be opened, the opportunities that need to be laid out before every dreamer,” she said.

“So I promise that if we are given your trust, the first step that we will take is to ensure that Pasigueño will have a fair opportunity to work, to start, and be successful in his/her own city,” added the 48-year-old philanthropist.

Discaya said she doesn’t see her fellow Pasigueños as mere statistics but as members of one family.

“Each of you is a precious life, important family, important dreams to cherish, guide, and shower with love and compassion,” she said.

“Our fight is a fight of every father and mother who want to support their family. The fight of every youth who dreams of a better tomorrow. The fight of every worker seeking dignity in their work,” she added.
