VinFast Philippines capped off its VF 3: Brave New Imagination Creators Challenge at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), with graphic designer Warren Carlo Trinidad clinching the grand prize for his winning decal design, “Lakbay (Journey).”

The contest, which kicked off in March, called on Filipino artists to put their own creative spin on the VinFast VF 3, the brand’s all-electric mini SUV. Out of all the entries, Trinidad’s design stood out, capturing the spirit of travel, adventure, and Filipino culture through bold and thoughtful storytelling.

“My design is inspired by travel, as it’s how I unwind and reconnect with myself,” Trinidad shared. “This contest gave me the perfect canvas to mix what I love most: creativity, culture, and color. I’m excited to take my new VF 3 on the road with Lakbay on full display!”

As the first prize winner, Trinidad received a brand-new VF 3 featuring his design, making him not just a creator but also the proud owner of his vision come to life. Other top finalists were recognized during the awarding ceremony at the VinFast booth in the World Trade Center in Pasay City, taking home cash prizes for their outstanding entries.

The contest was judged by a panel of renowned creatives and industry professionals, including decal entrepreneur Gino Roberto, toy and graffiti artist Eryk “Creon Chkn” Lalic, and graphic designer Chuck Alpajaro. They praised the high level of artistry and cultural storytelling present in the submissions.

Beyond the Creators Challenge, VinFast has been actively embracing Filipino culture through meaningful collaborations with local artists and creatives. Most recently, the VF 3 made a vibrant appearance in the music video of rising P-pop girl group KAIA, reflecting the brand’s innovative approach to marketing and its strong connection to Pinoy culture.

These initiatives are part of VinFast’s broader effort to resonate with a new generation of Filipino car buyers by blending technology, creativity, and cultural relevance.
