Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently opened up on social media about one of the most personal and inspiring chapters of her life — her fitness journey.
In a heartfelt post, the beloved actress and singer shared how she began her slow but steady transformation in 2016, not out of vanity, but as a commitment to her long-term health after years of struggling with the effects of crash dieting.
“2016. The year I decided to SLOWLY lose weight. I was tired and had ruined my body’s metabolism by going on all sorts of crash diets,” she wrote. “So, SLOWLY BUT SURELY was the way for me to go.”
Sharon also reflected on how many only started noticing her weight loss during the final stretch of her journey, even though the transformation had spanned nearly a decade.
“Nakakatawa ngayon kasi parang nawala ang lahat ng extra weight ko overnight?” she joked, adding, “Yung last 20-25 lbs. na lang ang napansin tapos kanya-kanyang conclusions na sila! Bahala sila sa buhay nila.”
Now, nine years later, she proudly shared that she has lost an incredible 106 pounds. Beyond the numbers, her transformation is a story of discipline, healing, and renewed self-confidence.
Throughout her wellness journey,
Sharon has also undergone treatments at Aivee Clinic — further underscoring her commitment to a holistic and sustainable approach to health.
