Go thanks Ate Guy for endorsement
‘Thank you very much, Ate Guy. Your words are a great honor. I’m even more inspired to continue my advocacy of ‘service as a passion’ — a sincere and compassionate service for our fellow Filipinos’

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, widely known as “Mr. Malasakit,” expressed his deep gratitude to National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor for her heartfelt Facebook post praising his genuine public service and personal compassion for the Filipino people.
In her post, Aunor shared her own experience with Senator Go’s “Malasakit,” recalling when she personally received her National Artist Award at Malacañang Palace and expressed gratitude to former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
“Sen. Bong Go is the Mr. Malasakit of the Senate. I personally experienced how compassionate Senator Bong Go is. It was when I went to Malacañang to personally receive my National Artist Award and thank former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. That wasn’t the last time, but the beginning of my continuous experience of his true compassion,” Aunor wrote.
“Who is Sen. Bong Go? He is a quiet and shy person. He doesn’t want to boast about the many things he’s done for millions of Filipinos through the Malasakit Center. Senator Bong just works — he works hard,” she added.
The post ended with Aunor saying, “He is a person who doesn’t choose the place, time, or status in life of anyone. To him, every Filipino is importsnt. He is a genuine person who serves personally, face-to-face — not just for appearances on Facebook or TV. His service is not forced, and most of all, it is service with Malasakit. That is Kuya Sen. Bong Go. Let’s bring back our Mr. Malasakit of the Senate — Bong Go.”
The senator humbly acknowledged the gesture of the highly respected actress and cultural icon, saying her words are a source of inspiration for him to continue pushing forward with his pro-poor programs and initiatives.
“Thank you very much, Ate Guy. Your words are a great honor. I’m even more inspired to continue my advocacy of ‘service as a passion’ — a sincere and compassionate service for our fellow Filipinos,” Go said.
Senator Go reaffirmed his commitment to bringing the government closer to the Filipino people through accessible and compassionate public service. He emphasized that he will continue to support vital programs and craft meaningful legislation, especially those that uplift the lives of the poor and marginalized.
As chairman of the Senate Committees on Health and on Sports, Go reiterated his dedication to advancing both healthcare and sports development across the country, saying that both are essential in building a stronger and healthier nation.
He stressed, “Get into sports, stay away from drugs, to keep us healthy and fit.” This slogan continues to guide his efforts in promoting grassroots sports programs while also expanding access to quality healthcare through initiatives such as the Malasakit Centers, Super Health Centers and Regional Specialty Centers.
With the unwavering support of the Filipino people and the encouragement of esteemed individuals like Nora Aunor, Senator Go vowed to remain steadfast in his mission of genuine public service.
“I will not stop. I will do everything I can to serve every Filipino — from Luzon, Visayas to Mindanao,” he concluded.
“I am your Senator Kuya Bong Go, and I will continue to serve you all to the best of my ability. My hard work is one of the things I can offer to our fellow Filipinos because serving others is my passion, and I believe that service to the people is service to God. Thank you, and my office is always open for all of you,” Senator Go ended.
