Pasig City mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya has promised to improve the city’s healthcare services by constructing a new public hospital if she wins in the upcoming midterm elections, addressing the city’s growing need for more medical facilities.
“With the increasing population in Pasig, there is a growing shortage of public hospitals and medical services,” Discaya said. “I’ve witnessed many of our fellow Pasigueños coming to me for assistance, whether it’s financial support, medical supplies, or medicines. This is a pressing issue that needs urgent attention.”
Discaya, a philanthropist who runs a charity foundation that aids the poor through medical missions and various community service projects, emphasized that her firsthand experience in providing aid has inspired her to take action.
“If elected, I will prioritize the construction of a new hospital to meet the rising demand for healthcare in Pasig,” she added. “We need to bridge these gaps, and I am committed to fulfilling this promise.”
Aside from healthcare, Discaya’s platform includes ensuring quality education, expanding livelihood opportunities, and making wise decisions that directly improve the lives of Pasigueños.
“These are not just promises, but concrete actions that will lead to a more prosperous, stable, and inclusive Pasig City,” Discaya said, highlighting the importance of real solutions that benefit all residents.
With her extensive experience in the construction business, Discaya is confident that her plans will come to fruition. “I know how to make these plans a reality. My determination to provide the right services for the people of Pasig is strong, and together, we can make this happen,” she concluded.
If elected, Discaya plans to leverage her expertise to bring positive change to Pasig City and make healthcare accessible for every resident.
