The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that it will temporarily close three lanes of Rizal Bridge in Babatngon, Leyte "until further notice."
In an advisory on Friday, 28 March, the DPWH said the Rizal Bridge is only one-lane passable to all vehicles traveling between Babatngon and Tacloban City.
"[This is] to ensure public safety during ongoing bridge repair/rehab works," DPWH stated.
Road users are advised to drive with caution and follow road management measures in the area.
