Jeno, a member of NCT and a well-known fan of the Samsung Lions, finally fulfilled his long-awaited dream of throwing the first pitch on 22 March.

According to the Samsung Lions, they invited Jeno to throw the first pitch at the regular season opening game, and he happily accepted.

Jeno was originally scheduled to throw the ceremonial pitch at the second playoff game against the LG Twins at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on 14 October last year, but the game was postponed due to rain.

Following the cancellation, he expressed his disappointment on Weverse, saying, “I’m really sad that I couldn’t throw the first pitch today, but it was still a great memory. I practiced throwing and batting with player Lee Ho-sung, and it was fun. I will always support Lee Ho-sung, and I hope there will be another chance (to throw the first pitch) in the future.”

On 22 March, Jeno took the mound wearing a jersey with the number 23, his official number, as his birthday falls on 23 April.

Before his pitch, he greeted the crowd, "Hello, this is Jeno. Nice to meet you. Thank you so much for inviting me to throw the first pitch today. I will cheer for the victory in the 2025 season opening game. Go, Samsung Lions!"

His dynamic throw earned applause from the crowd, and even the game commentators praised his form, noting that his ball rotation was impressive and his pitching motion was very neat.
