Mayor Rufino “Ruffy” Biazon bathed in the glow of the strong support of his constituents over the weekend as he seeks a second term as chief executive of Muntinlupa City.

“Your support is very warm. It is a testament to our unity in pushing for a better, developed, and progressive Muntinlupa,” he said during a visit to Purok 6 in Sucat.

Assuming office in 2022, Biazon implemented his 7K Agenda, which focuses on key areas such as education, health, livelihood, peace and order, and economic development.

His administration has launched numerous initiatives, including the Kalingang Munti Action Center, a one-stop shop that allows residents to access various government services.

“As mayor of Muntinlupa, my focus has always been to create a city that serves its people genuinely, where each resident feels supported and valued. We’re not just here to provide services, we’re here to build a community that thrives on a strong foundation of compassion, inclusivity, and opportunity,” Biazon said.

Under Biazon, the city has seen an increase in the budget for student scholarships, as well as the provision of free “Balik Eskwela” packages containing school bags, supplies, and shoes.

Additionally, Biazon launched the Womb to Work Program, which provides a series of interventions to support children from birth to adulthood.

The city government also ramped up services and funding in areas such as health, livelihood, infrastructure, and peace and order.

Biazon emphasized that the 7K Agenda, which prioritizes social services, ensures that resources are directed to where they are most needed.

“By prioritizing social services, the city has strengthened support for the elderly, enhanced healthcare, and provided educational resources that uplift young Muntinlupeños,” Biazon said.
