British Foreign Minister Rt. Hon. David Lammy MP is set to visit the Philippines this week, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced Friday.

According to DFA spokesperson Ma. Teresita Daza, Lammy will visit Manila on Saturday to meet his counterpart, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo.

The two foreign ministers are expected to review cooperations across various pillars of the enhanced partnership between the two nations such as trade and investments, defense, maritime, climate change and environment, and science and technology.

They are also expected to exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

While in Manila, Lammy will also meet Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro. He is also scheduled to meet President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in Malacanang Palace.
