Actress Kathryn Bernardo's fans were left puzzled after her mother, Min Bernardo, made a cryptic remark in a video posted by Long Gumatay.
In a now-viral social media clip, Min warned the public against believing in misinformation.
"Huwag kayong masyadong naniniwala sa mga — fake news," she stated when Tita Long asked her to share a message with the actress’s fans.
However, what caught netizens’ attention was her follow-up statement: "Basta, tanungin niyo na lang si Tita Long." This led to speculation among fans, wondering what Min was implying.
Long Gumatay, better known as Tita Long, is a longtime fan of Kathryn who eventually became close to her family.
The statement surfaced amid rumors that Kathryn has reconciled with her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
To recall, the former couple confirmed their breakup in 2023 through separate statements.
"Our love story began with respect and ended with respect," Kathryn wrote in her announcement, emphasizing that their decision was mutual. She also expressed gratitude for the years she spent with Padilla, describing them as unforgettable.
Padilla also released his own statement regarding the split
