Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc., the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, conducts tree planting in different communities every year as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.

During Arbor Day in July 2023, volunteers from the techglomerate’s West Cebu Estate locators in Balamban, Cebu numbering nearly 300 people planted 1,250 native and indigenous seedlings in Buhing Tubig, Barangay Buanoy.

Meanwhile, at its LIMA Estate in Batangas, AIC aims to take waste management to the next level with programs like compost-to-fertilizer and plastic-to-eco-bricks projects as well as community waste management training to encourage responsible practices.

“Our CSR initiatives align with our mission to support businesses while uplifting communities across the Philippines, ensuring our efforts contribute positively to society and the environment,” said Cosette V. Canilao, Aboitiz InfraCapital president and CEO.

“Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, we’re building a foundation for sustainable growth that benefits all,” she added.

AIC’s CSR is not limited to environmental conservation projects. It also promotes education and economic empowerment in reinforcing the company’s mission of creating a lasting positive impact in areas where it operates.
