As she turned a year older on 17 February , actress and TV host Anne Curtis shared a glimpse of how she celebrated her 40th birthday.

On Instagram, the actress posted a heartfelt carousel of snapshots from her birthday celebration, which she spent with her family and closest friends.

"Another loop around the sun, and I’m grateful for the gift of life, love, work, friends, and family," she captioned her post.

According to Curtis, her celebration was all about doing what she loves and cherishing the moment with her family.

"I celebrated today by doing things I love and spending time with my family. Extremely excited to see what this year will bring. Thank you for all your birthday wishes! Sending love, light, and pockets full of sunshine to all of you," she wrote.

Her husband, Erwan Heussaff, also took to Instagram to share a sweet video of himself cooking a special meal for her birthday, featuring “Menudo with Lots of Capsicums and Cream, and Spaghetti with lots of creeeeaaam.”

"It’s that time of the year when we prepare food for Anne’s birthday," he captioned his post.

In the video, Curtis appeared to be enjoying the meal Heussaff lovingly prepared for her.

Aside from her family, Curtis also felt the love from her friends, as she reposted several of their birthday greetings on her Instagram.

Currently, the actress is busy filming her upcoming action-packed project with Erik Matti and actor Gerald Anderson.
