
Two men were arrested by the Muntinlupa City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), resulting in the seizure of 500 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of P60,000 in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa City.
The buy-bust operation, conducted at approximately 1:10 a.m. on 11 February 2025, resulted in the arrest of alias “Ralph” and alias “Jimuel.”
Police reports showed both suspects were caught in possession of dried marijuana leaves, confirming their involvement in illegal drug activities.
The operation was executed by SDEU operatives of the Muntinlupa City Police Station, under the leadership of PCol. Robert C. Domingo, Muntinlupa police chief.
Following their arrest, alias Ralph and alias Jimuel were taken to the SDEU office for further investigation and documentation. Criminal complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are set to be filed against them.
PBGen. Manuel J. Abrugena, director of the Southern Police District, reaffirmed the police force’s intensified efforts in eliminating the drug menace.
“The seizure of 500 grams of marijuana and the arrest of these suspects reflects our relentless fight against illegal drugs. We will continue working tirelessly to dismantle drug operations and bring offenders to justice,” Abrugena said.
“We call on the community to stay proactive in reporting illegal activities and supporting our mission for a safer Muntinlupa,” he added.
