Young, talented designer Vin Orias starts the year 2025 like a breath of fresh air. His SS/2025 menswear collection, “Breather,” is a capsule of flexible casual wear staple pieces that work well with other textures.

The use of corduroy as the main fabric in tailored suit sets gives a sense of nostalgia and control. The mood is of chilly summer breezes transitioning to spring, as the fabric also gives a feeling of warmth and comfort.

The relaxed palette is a play of neutrals in hues of beige, grays and deep greens to give a sense of balance.

“Breather” is more than just your typical stylish menswear collection.There is a deeper meaning to the beauty of tailored simplicity in his collective.

“It is a reflection of my mental and physical state. With all the fast-paced activities and action of last year the modest designer decided to step on the breaks,” Orias says. “It is both a (quick) pause and rest at the same time, which I rarely have as a creative.”

A collaborative shoot with creative director and photographer Rashied Clores was inspired by a breezy outdoor scene of a simple cloth hanging amid an open field. Creativity naturally fuses everything together with this free-flowing vibe and energy.

Aligned to his vision of becoming a global name, the aspiring brand is finalist of the prestigious Bench Design Awards 2025 wherein the winners get to showcase their designs at the Tokyo Fashion Week. Strengthening their online presence and strategy, they recently signed with a DropShip Philippines as exclusive online fulfillment partner for our local and global distribution. And lastly, more activations, collaborations and a new retail space in time for the brand’s ninth anniversary is planned by the third quarter of this year.
