BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Illegal drugs worth P680,000 were seized and a suspect was arrested during a buy-bust operation at Roman Super Highway, Barangay Tenejero on Friday.
According to Balanga City Police Station chief P/Lt. Col. Victor Cacdac, the suspect sold a heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu to a PNP poseur buyer in exchange for P3,000 in buy-bust money.
Following the arrest, SDEU personnel conducted a protective search and recovered two large heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, along with a Smith & Wesson caliber .38 revolver loaded with five live ammunition and no identifiable serial number.
The authorities also recovered the buy-bust money from the suspect. The confiscated drugs weighed approximately 100 grams, with an estimated value of P680,000.
The suspect was informed of his rights and taken to Balanga City Police Station for proper disposition, pending the filing of charges.
