The University of the Philippines (UP) has announced that the next College Admission Test (UPCAT) will take place on 2 and 3 August 2025.
Online applications will be accepted from 3 to 31 March 2025, while grade submissions will be open from 4 to 25 August 2025, following the examination.
Applicants are reminded to bring a valid school ID or any government-issued ID on exam day to ensure a smooth verification process.
The UPCAT is open to students currently in Grade 11 for the 2024–2025 academic year, intending to enter as first-year college students for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The test consists of four subtests: Language Proficiency, Science, Mathematics, and Reading Comprehension.
According to UP’s official website, standardized scores from these subtests will be combined with a composite of final grades from Grades 8 to 11 to determine the final admission score.
Exam results will be posted on the university’s official website. Applicants can access their results by logging in with the email account used during the application process.
