2GO Group Inc., the Philippines’ premier provider of comprehensive shipping and logistics solutions, recently appointed Will Howell as its new group chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

This expanded role is designed to streamline operations, enhance strategic decision-making, and create a more cohesive approach to financial and operational management.

Howell has played a pivotal role in driving financial and operational discipline across 2GO’s various business units, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and profitability over the past three years.

His leadership has been integral in guiding key investments, optimizing asset allocation, and strategically divesting from underperforming ventures.

Additionally, Howell has been instrumental in improving 2GO’s cash flow and overall financial stability.

Howell: “The journey to sustainable growth and profitability has been incredibly rewarding. Our collective efforts to improve efficiency and elevate service delivery have positioned 2GO as a leader in the Philippine logistics sector. As we look ahead to 2025, I am eager to collaborate with our dedicated employees, partners, and stakeholders to create even more value for our customers.”

In 2024, 2GO achieved significant milestones, reinforcing its standing as the country’s top logistics provider.

Key accomplishments included the addition of three large ROPAX vessels to support freight and travel demand in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, the expansion of its cold chain and ISO tank services, and improvements in operational efficiency across last-mile courier, parcel delivery, and forwarding services.

These achievements reflect 2GO’s ongoing commitment to innovation and customer-focused service, underpinned by a strong leadership team.

Frederic DyBuncio, president and CEO of 2GO, expressed confidence in Howell’s leadership.

“Howell’s guidance has been crucial in fortifying 2GO’s financial and operational strength. We look forward to seeing how he will continue to drive our company’s growth and mission in this new role.”
