President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte’s net satisfaction rating declined in 2024, according to a recent survey released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
In the survey, Marcos’ satisfaction ratings went from 58 percent in September to 51 percent in December. Duterte also declined in ratings after receiving a 52 percent satisfaction rate.
However, Marcos and Duterte maintained strong numbers in their respective home areas. Marcos’ net satisfaction rating was highest in Balance Luzon at “good” with +38 followed by Metro Manila and Visayas at “moderate” with +20 and +18, respectively and “poor” with -18 in Mindanao.
Meantime, Duterte continued to score big in Mindanao after receiving a “very good” rating of +67, followed by “good” in Mindanao at +32.
Balanced Luzon, and Metro Manila was neutral to the Vice President with ratings of +1 and -3 respectively.
Senate President Francis Escudero, on the other hand, received a satisfaction rating of 61 percent; Speaker Martin Romualdez with 40 percent, and 38 percent with Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo.

According to SWS, the sampling error has a margin of ±2 for national percentages, ±3 percent in Balance Luzon, and ±5 percent each for Metro Manila, the Visayas and Mindanao.
