Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna placed third in the “Pulso ng Bayan: Top Performing Mayors in the National Capital Region” during its survey done in December 2024.

The survey for December highlights the outstanding performance of local chief executives in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Topping the list is Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City with an approval rating of 92.7 percent, who is statistically tied with Mayor Vico Sotto of Pasig City, who garnered 92.3 percent.

They were followed as top performers by Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano of Pasay City with 91.6 percent, Lacuna with 90.5 percent and Mayor Abby Binay of Makati City with 89.2 percent.

Lacuna expressed her gratitude, saying their trust and confidence in her will serve as an inspiration for her administration to do even better in the days to come and added that the recognition validates that no amount of negative campaigning against her administration can diminish the gains that the city of Manila has achieved since she assumed the mayorship in 2022.

The lady mayor vowed to remain focused on the realization of the city government’s goals geared toward a “Magnificent Manila” by 2030.
