Blood is thicker than water they say. And it holds true in all aspects of life — work and play. Mother and son artists Angela and Gio Panlilio came together and held a successful show recently at Artinformal in Karrivin Plaza.
The well-attended event showcased both notable talent and their passion for the arts. It was a celebration of artistry with Angela Panlilio’s “Into light” wherein she uses her trademark of window, glass and illusion with a twist of warm hues and Gio’s noteworthy “Temporary Constellations” subliminal study of space in abstraction both bathe in the beauty of perspective through the lens with a captivating play of shadows and light.
The vibe of the event was quite warm, pleasantly light and energetic. A fun filled special occasion with a lot of family and friends. A delightful exercise in art appreciation with inspiring points of view from beautiful minds. After all, the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
