Authorities reported that two Caloocan City residents were arrested during a sting operation after yielding high-grade marijuana and drug-infused cigarette sticks at Bagong Barrio last Tuesday.
Members of the Northern Police District-District Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DDEU) conducted the buy-bust operation along Guadalupe Street in Barangay 83, Caloocan City.
The arrested individuals, identified only as alias “White,” and alias “Mart.”
According to Police Captain Regie Pobadora, the officer-in-charge of the NPD-DDEU, the poseur-buyer was able to purchase 18 grams of kush, which led to the buy-bust operation.
“Kush is like a stronger version of marijuana. Even just by smelling it, you can already feel its strong effect,” the drug enforcement unit head said.
The NPD-DDEU recovered 149 cigarette packs containing suspected cannabidiol (CBD)-infused cigarette sticks.
Pobadora said that one pack contains seven sticks, with each stick having a street-value price of P300.
