The song garnered an astounding 1.774 billion streams, surpassing Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso on the final day of 2024. This milestone was officially announced on 1 January 2025.

With its addictive melody and introspective lyrics that gave listeners LSS (last song syndrome), Birds of a Feather struck a chord worldwide, earning praise for its production and emotional resonance.

The track also topped playlists, inspired viral trends on social media, and became a universal anthem, securing its place as a modern classic.

Aside from Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso, other contenders included Taylor Swift’s Golden Hour and The Weeknd’s Afterglow.
