Imus City, Cavite – Vermosa, Ayala Land Inc.'s (ALI) 752-hectare master-planned estate spanning Imus and Dasmariñas, Cavite, is set to establish a beacon of faith and community with the groundbreaking of San Sebastian Church. This spiritual milestone reflects Vermosa's commitment to building a holistic suburban haven that nurtures both body and soul.

The groundbreaking ceremony of San Sebastian Church, held at the heart of Vermosa, marks a pivotal step in the estate's mission to create a comprehensive, inclusive development. The planned 500-person-capacity church will serve as a hub for worship, reflection, and community gatherings.

"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to make a difference in the lives of our fellow Filipinos and provide a space for their spiritual well-being in the Cavite community," said May P. Rodriguez, Vice President & Senior Project Development Head of Ayala Land Estates Group. "As we break ground today, let this moment remind us of our shared mission: to foster communities where everyone can thrive."

Set to be completed by 2026, San Sebastian Church will feature facilities for weddings, seminaries, and ample parking spaces. While the designer and builder details are forthcoming, the project underscores Ayala Land’s dedication to creating spaces that enhance community life.

Vermosa’s strategic location and world-class facilities, including the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, AyalaMalls Vermosa, and the De La Salle Santiago Zobel Vermosa Campus, solidify its position as a dynamic, sustainable growth hub in the south. The estate’s new church adds another dimension to its vision of a modern suburban community.

Architect Carmelo Casas, who leads the church’s design, emphasized its timeless appeal: "Rooted in the principles of aggiornamento, the design of the San Sebastian Church in Vermosa aspires to transcend trends, offering a sacred space that reflects God’s eternal presence. Casas’ process focuses on creating an atmosphere that invites worship and evokes an experience of heaven on earth."
