Fnatic ONIC PH slays Indo powerhouse, Aurora falls

Philippine representatives Fnatic ONIC PH and Aurora drew mixed results on the opening day of the Mobile Legends M6 World Championship this past Thursday at the IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Fnatic ONIC PH, the reigning MPL PH Season 14 champion, showcased why they are one of the tournament favorites by soundly defeating Team Liquid Indonesia in the best-of-one series.

Aurora, meanwhile, hit a roadblock in its world championship dreams after suffering an upset loss to Myanmar's Falcons Esports. It is important to note, however, that this is not the end of the road for the fan-favorite team.

Aurora will face NIP Flash of Singapore later today, while Fnatic ONIC PH takes on CFU Gaming.
