A road expansion project by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) along Mia Road was temporarily suspended Thursday after a huge, live vintage bomb was discovered.
A member of the Philippine National Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal said the vintage bomb would be taken to the EOD headquarters for examination and proper disposal before being sent to Tarlac.
Around 1 p.m., the bomb was securely transported to their headquarters.
Authorities believe the excavated vintage bomb, measuring 54 inches long and 63 inches in circumference, was made by the Americans and used during World War II.
