The local government of Manila has issued a directive to all inspectors of businesses in the city this holiday season.

This was learned from City Administrator Bernie Ang, who said that he had already issued a memorandum to this effect to all concerned city government units following the directive of Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna.

According to Ang, the prohibition on all inspections takes effect immediately and covers all establishments, including shopping malls where stalls are located.
