Last year, opening a Fully Booked store in SM City Iloilo brought much joy to Ilonggo book enthusiasts. At 30 square meters, Fully Booked maximized the cozy space to house a selection of beloved books, bestsellers and hard-to-find gems.
"For a long time, readers from Iloilo had been clamoring for a branch in their city, and we were happy to have finally been able to fulfill their wishes last April 2023. While they welcomed us with open arms, we assured them we would get a bigger space once it became available," says Jaime Daez, managing director of Fully Booked Philippines.
That bigger space finally opened in March. At 101 square meters, the newest space is over thrice the size of the current one. This bigger book haven in Iloilo promises to provide a richer literary experience, offering wider selections of titles and an inviting ambiance for Ilonggo readers to immerse themselves in.
"We're inviting Ilonggo bookworms to come over. Go ahead and get that book you've long sought after, or discover a new title or author you've never tried before. You might surprise yourself," says Daez.
Fully Booked opened its newest branch in Iloilo City last 15 March, right in time for the mall wide sale. It is at the ground floor of SM Iloilo Southpoint, Benigno Aquino Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
