Patrick Sleat is excited to reunite with Olsen Racela when he campaigns for University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in the National Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball tournament.

Sleat, who played under Racela when he was still at Far Eastern University, said he is thrilled to be part of the Altas as they search for their first ever title in the country's oldest collegiate league.

He said adjusting to the Altas will no longer be a problem as he played under Racela at FEU in Seasons 84 and 85 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.

"I felt welcomed here — not just by Coach Olsen but also by the other coaches and my teammates so I'm excited to play for Perpetual," Sleat said.

Sleat averaged 7.71 points, 4.71 rebounds, 2.14 assists, and 1.07 steals in Season 86 as the Tamaraws finished in seventh place with a 3-11 win-loss record.

He, however, will have to sit out NCAA Season 100 to comply with the one-year residency rule.

Sleat's arrival in Perpetual Help was a breath of fresh air after Jun Roque, Mark Omega, Cyrus Nitura, Joey Barcuma and Carlo Ferreras all packed their bags in the off-season.

Racela has a lot of work to do with the Altas after the team fell short of making it to the Final Four and finished fifth with a 10-8 record in Season 99.
