More than half a million worth of suspected illegal drugs were seized from 14 suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Rizal province Wednesday evening.
One of the arrested suspects was a 38-year-old woman, identified as alias Kat, a resident of Taytay, Rizal.
Seized from her were 16 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 45 grams with an estimated drug price of P306,000.
Alias Kat, who is listed as a newly identified high-value target, has been under surveillance for a long time which ended in her arrest.
A total of P561,816 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from the suspects in separate buy-bust operations.
All 14 suspects, now detained at various custodial facilities in the province, will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
