Cebu Pacific completes deliveries of 19 aircraft and engines

Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) achieves its objective of streamlining its operations and meeting the escalating demand for air travel by the delivery of 19 aircraft and engines for the year, capping off a successful 2023.

Two of the most recent aircraft deliveries for November and December are Airbus A330neos, while the rest are A321neo, A320neo, and A320ceo. With the addition of these brand-new aircraft, CEB now has 77 commercial aircraft in its fleet.

"Cebu Pacific achieved a historic milestone with a record number of aircraft deliveries this year. These additions to our fleet not only bolster our capacity to fly more passengers but also underscore our commitment to ensure every Juan gets to fly to their destinations," said Alex Reyes, CEB Chief Strategy Officer.

Reyes added that with the steady recovery of air travel after the pandemic, CEB also signed a commercial leasing agreement with Bulgaria Air on 5 December for two Airbus 320 CEO aircraft to be operated on two domestic routes, Davao and Cebu, to further increase its capacity.

CEB currently operates one of the youngest fleets in the world, with its diversified fleet mix enabling the widest network coverage in the Philippines. It is composed of eight Airbus 330s, 35 Airbus 320s, 20 Airbus 321s, and 14 ATR turboprop aircraft.
