P108K shabu seized in drug bust

Anti-drug operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Taguig City police launched buy-bust operation early morning yesterday capturing a man in possession of illegal drugs.

The operation was launched at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday, 30 December along Road 39, Barangay North Daang Hari, Taguig City that resulted in the arrest of the target, alias Francis, 47 years old.

Confiscated were 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 16 grams with standard drug price of P108,000, P200 buy-bust money, coin purse and one cellular phone.

Violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect while recovered pieces of evidence will be turned over to SPD forensic unit for chemical analysis.
