Conti's Bakeshop and Restaurant upped the sweet spirit of Christmas by surprising random customers with free Mango Bravo cakes and a heartfelt request to share the joy with a stranger.

Diners who received a complimentary Mango Bravo were given another whole cake and were encouraged to pass the kindness forward by giving the second cake to a random person.

"Paying it forward fosters a sense of connection and community. Sharing Mango Bravo with a stranger is a simple yet powerful way to bridge gaps and strengthen the bonds between people," Patricia Marañon-Tan, one of the daughters of Conti's founder, said.

"In a world that can sometimes feel chaotic, simple acts of kindness stand out. It has the power to create a positive and uplifting environment."

Conti's chose to give away Mango Bravo cakes because it's the most sought-after delicacy from the beloved food brand's roster of delectable dessert offerings and has been a part of many families' Noche Buena for the past 26 years.

"Our signature cake represents indulgence and celebration. It's not just a treat for the taste buds but a symbol of joy and festivity," Marañon-Tan said.

"Christmas is a season of giving, and what better way to celebrate it than by sharing the joy our beloved Mango Bravo brings. It's a small gesture that will inspire a chain of kindness that will make a lot of people's holiday season brighter.

The project was captured in a video that had been getting much attention and spreading warm holiday cheer on Conti's Facebook page (https://bit.ly/3tsAyLc), where it was posted.
