All speculations regarding BLACKPINK's potential exit from its management company have been officially put to rest as K-pop's reigning queens have extended their contract with YG Entertainment.
YG Entertainment confirmed on Wednesday, 6 December that all four members of BLACKPINK renewed their contracts with the label "after careful discussions" and "based on deep trust," according to Korean news source Soompi.
Yang Hyun Suk, YG Entertainment's executive producer, welcomed the development, stating, "BLACKPINK will continue to do their best to shine even brighter in the global music market as artists representing not only our agency but also K-pop, and we send our unwavering support and faith for their future steps."
Fans can thus anticipate more electric performances and chart-topping hits from the globally influential girl group.
