LAOAG CITY — At around 10:50 in the evening of Sunday, 3 December 2023, a vehicular traffic incident involving a Mitsubishi Strada and Honda Civic took place on Gilbert Bridge in Laoag City.

According to witnesses, both vehicles were traversing the northbound lane of the Gilbert Bridge when the Honda Civic tried to overtake the Mitsubishi Strada, driven by Fitz Jess Baguyo.

The blue Honda Civic bumped into the Mitsubishi Strada, which made the latter turn and even go beyond the center island of the bridge.

According to the initial investigation, the driver of the Blue Honda Civic, identified as Philip Caesar Corpuz, tested positive on the alcoholic breath analyzer.
