Kennon Road closed after multi-vehicle crash

TUBA, Benguet — A section of Kennon Road was closed to traffic early Thursday, 09 January 2025, following a multi-vehicle collision near the rockshed at Sitio Camp 6, Barangay Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet.

The incident occurred at around 6 a.m. when two trucks, a jeepney, a pickup sport utility vehicle, and a van collided. Authorities said no injuries were reported as of posting.

Personnel from the Tuba Municipal Police Station are on site conducting an investigation into the cause of the collision.

A temporary road closure has been implemented in the Camp 6 area, before the tunnel. Motorists traveling to and from Baguio City are advised to use Marcos Highway as an alternate route.

The public, especially motorists, is advised to exercise caution and follow the instructions of traffic personnel on the ground.

Authorities said the road will remain closed until the involved vehicles are cleared and the investigation is completed.
