University of the Philippines President Angelo A. Jimenez will hit the ceremonial tee-off at the "Pumapalo Para sa Bayan (Swinging for the Nation)" golf event slated 14 December at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.
It marks a unique chance to see the university's leader initiate a day focused on skill, sportsmanship, and community.
Also invited is former UP President, former UPAA President and DTI Secretary Fred Pascual.
The event is organized by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association which launched several other priority projects to bolster its flagship program 4Es CONNECT.
It stands for "Experiential Education towards Employment and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem."
Tournament fee is P8,000 inclusive of green fee, cart sharing, food and raffle prizes.
