MOBILE, Alabama — Rain amounting to more than three inches over a 36-hour period caused the suspension of the third round of the LPGA Q-Series Saturday.
Third round of six will commence on Sunday morning (late evening Sunday in Manila), according to the LPGA.
"To ensure six rounds of competition, the final round will now take place on Wednesday, 6 December," said the website.
"In order to allow maintenance crews to prepare the golf courses and provide the fairest course conditions for the competition."
Round 3 is now scheduled to start on Sunday at 9 a.m. on No. 1 and 10 tees. Round 4 will start at 7:30 a.m. on Monday from No. 1 tee only.
After Round 4, the cut will be made at the top-65 players and ties. Top 45 players and ties make it outright to the next season of the Tour.
The Philippines' Clariss Guce is currently tied for ninth, while Pauline del Rosario and Dottie Ardina are T52 after two rounds.
