Juvic Pagunsan, coasting along the past three days, ended up tied for 26th on Sunday and bagged Y1,063,592  (P400,000) in the Japan Tour's Golf Nippon Series JT Cup.

The 45-year-old Filipino was in the mix after a 68 on opening day before gradually sliding down the leaderboard. He finished nine-over in the tourney.

Taiga Semikawa bagged the championship with a 68 for 15-under 265 and a one-stroke triumph. He cashed in Y40 million (P15 million).

Fellow Japanese Takumi Kanaya and Keita Nakajima were tied for second with 14-under 266 and won Y12.5 million yen (P4.7 million) each.

Meanwhile, Filipinos Sean Ramos and Angelo Que settled for a share of 58th place following weak finishes on Sunday in the Taiwan Glass Taifong Open.

Ramos signed on a 75, while Que could only card 74 in the final round of the $400,000 tournament which served as penultimate offering of the Asian Tour.

The Filipinos finished with three-over 291, 22 shots behind the champion.

Thai Suteepat Prateepticuchai didn't let up and posted a 68 on Sunday for a four-stroke victory. He had a 19-under 269 to capture his first ever Tour win.
