GENERAL SANTOS CITY — At least four dead and 40 were injured when a still-to-be-determined bomb exploded inside the Dimaporo Gymnasium at the Mindanao State University – Marawi Campus on Sunday morning.
A report from the Philippine National Police – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region disclosed that a Catholic student mass was ongoing when the bomb exploded.
PNP PROBAR Regional Director, P/BGen Allan Nobleza in an interview said that the police have yet to determine the bomb or explosive that was used by the suspects.
Rescue units from different government agencies are still conducting rescue operations as of press time.
