For uniting many licensed professionals and registered real estate practitioners in the country, the National Real Estate Association has claimed that they have already reigned supreme in the industry in time for their upcoming anniversary revelry.
In a statement on Friday, Ruth Marie C Atienza, NREA National President claimed that NREA was the only real estate group considered a one-stop trade organization "for consolidating licensed professionals and registered real estate practitioners in the Philippines."
"By its name and mission, NREA acts as a uniting group and chief advocacy platform for most real estate practitioners across the spectrum of the country's real estate service," Atienza pointed out.
NREA is also a staunch supporter of the Marcos Administration's Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino program or 4PH, an ambitious housing project aimed to produce six million houses for Filipinos during the tenure of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Marcos Jr. last July 2023 issued Executive Order No. 34, declaring the 4PH as a flagship program of the government and directed all government agencies to come up with an inventory of suitable lands for the program.
For her part, NREA National Chairperson Imelda Magtoto said that NREA will celebrate this milestone in time for their 32nd Founding Anniversary which will start this 17 October.
Anniversary celebration
From 17 to 19 October, NREA will kick off its Housing Trade Exhibit at Trinoma Activity Center, Trinoma Mall, Quezon City.
Gracing the anniversary celebration and opening of the trade exhibit include Atty. Angelito Aguila, Director IV of Housing and Real Estate Development Regulation Bureau of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development representing Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar; Congresswoman Marissa "Del Mar" Magsino, Representative of OFW Party List & Assistant Minority Leader; Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina G. Belmonte; Pag-IBIG Fund President & CEO Marilene C. Acosta; Philippine Guarantee Corporation President and CEO Alberto Francisco E. Pascual; Ayala Land Corporate Sales Head NREA vice president Flerida Atayde; Ayala Land Malls Area Head of Central BET Charmaine Bauzon, DILG Director Anna Liza Bonagua; Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy CEO Benjamin Felix, Jr.; DHSUD Undersecretary Roberto Juanchito Dispo, Assistant Secretary Krizzy de Leon, National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation vice president Ma. Luisa Favila and PHirst Park Homes Inc. President Ricky Celis, also NREA past chairperson and president and concurrent adviser.
Some private housing groups bear names that represent and cater only to specific practitioners, developers, builders, brokers, consultants, appraisers, salespersons and all allied services.
In support of the projects and programs of the government particularly in providing decent and affordable housing to Filipino families, NREA is conducting the event yearly with the support of Ayala Land, Inc. / Ayala Malls.
During the event, NREA officers and members will be awarded for their achievements and services to the organization that contributed to our success.
New members, chapter officers, and honorary members will also be inducted during the event.
