Some of the biggest celebrities in the music world descended upon the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday night, 12 September, for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

The arrival of American pop stars Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez added glamor to the star-studded occasion.

Swift flashed her toned legs in a form-fitting black gown with a high-low neckline, which she accessorized with layers of diamond and gold necklaces.

Her best friend Gomez teased the audience in her stunning high-thigh slit red floral gown, featuring flashes of her flesh in the intricate cut-out design, which marked her return to the prestigious event for the first time since 2015.

The two artists hugged each other and posed for photos during the event.
