For the 9th consecutive week, the price of diesel is expected to rise on Tuesday next week, 5 September.
In an advisory on Saturday, petroleum company Unioil said mixed movement for petroleum products is expected from 5 to 11 September 2023.
It said pump prices of diesel will increase by P1 to P1.20 per liter.
On the other hand, gasoline and kerosene prices are geared for an 8th straight increase from P0.30 to P0.50 per liter.
The uptick in petroleum products is due to piling demand and because of the coming winter season.
