Geely Philippines has launched its new offering, the GX3 Pro, a 5-seater subcompact crossover SUV last Tuesday, 8 August.
The GX3 Pro is the latest confirmation that Geely is committed to delivering vehicles that encapsulate a unique blend of performance, style, and affordability to the Filipino motorist.
The GX3 Pro is designed to provide a distinct driving experience, combining aesthetics with practicality.
"This model holds a strategic significance for Geely, as it aims to capture an entirely new customer base, particularly Gen Z. With its enticing introductory pricing and an emphasis on an enjoyable driving experience, the GX3 Pro is poised to play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and achieving five-digit annual sales figures," said Geely president and CEO, Yugo Kiyofuji.
Its sleek, contoured silhouette is coupled with expansive windows, designed not just for aesthetic appeal but to enhance visibility, allowing drivers to enjoy unobstructed views, whether navigating the bustling city streets or traversing the scenic countryside.
The interior design follows the same ethos, combining elegance with pragmatism.
The SUV sports a two-tier dashboard and a user-friendly control panel, ensuring each journey is not just a commute but a delightful experience.
On the technical side, the GX3 Pro comes with two transmission options to cater to varied driver preferences. The 5-speed manual transmission, available in the S variant, is perfect for those who enjoy a hands-on driving experience.
Alternatively, the Comfort variant offers a continuously variable transmission, suitable for those who prefer a smoother, more convenient drive.
Comfort variant, its top model, comes equipped with cruise control, a reverse camera with dynamic guide lines, a back-up sensor, and traction and stability control. In addition, the Comfort variant features a sunroof.
Powering the GX3 Pro is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that churns out 102 hp and 142 Nm of torque.
This engine is the same tried and tested powerhouse featured in the Geely Emgrand, ensuring consistent and reliable performance, whether it's a weekday urban commute or a weekend off-road escapade.
Safety features are at the heart of the GX3 Pro.
The Comfort variant comes equipped with cruise control, a reverse camera with dynamic guide lines, a back-up sensor, and traction and stability control systems to ensure optimal safety on any journey.
The S variant includes a reverse camera with dynamic guide lines and a back-up sensor. Both variants prioritize the safety of its occupants with two airbags.
Additionally, the Comfort variant is augmented with a sunroof, enhancing the overall driving experience by allowing natural sunlight to elevate the mood during drives.
With prices starting from P778,000 introductory SRP for the S variant, the GX3 Pro offers Filipino motorists a chance to own an SUV packed with advanced features without compromising on affordability.
Geely is also planning test drive events across key cities in the country. This will allow potential buyers and automotive enthusiasts alike to experience the power and comfort of the GX3 Pro firsthand.
