Manny Pacquiao was among the galaxy of stars who showed up at ringside during Terence Crawford's ninth-round knockout victory over Errol Spence Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Joined by his wife Jinkee, Pacquiao enjoyed every second of the event and remained a media darling when he was asked several questions ranging from Crawford's emphatic win to what lies ahead for the Filipino eight-division legend.
Pacquiao admitted that he was surprised that Crawford took out Spence with ease.
"I thought the fight would go 12 rounds," said Pacquiao, who retired from the sport in late-2021 right after his upset loss to Cuban Yordenis Ugas.
Given the way Crawford picked apart Spence, Pacquiao, who turns 45 in December, feels there's no need to see a rematch.
"One sided," he said.
Pacquiao remains retired but he is set to battle Thai kickboxing legend Buakaw Banchamek in a special exhibition match in early-2024.
But asked by Daily Tribune about a possible ring return, Pacquiao said it can be done.
"I can still do it," he said.
