WBC ranks Pacquiao at No. 9

The World Boxing Council (WBC) continues to rank eight-division Manny Pacquiao following the release of its July 2026 ratings.
Pacquiao, who drew with Mario Barrios last year in a bid to claim the welterweight crown, is listed at No. 9 in the 147-pound category.
The current champion is Ryan Garcia, who defeated Barrios early this year.
Other Filipino fighters who made the grade in the latest list are Mark Magsayo at No. 13 in the lightweight class, Charly Suarez at No. 11 in the super-feather ranks, Johnriel Casimero and Marlon Tapales at Nos. 11 and 12, respectively at featherweight, Kenneth Llover at No. 15 in the super-bantam division, Miel Fajardo, AJ Paciones aand Jesse Espinas at Nos. 7, 10 and 11 in the fly bracket, Regie Suganob (No. 5), Arvin Magramo No. 6), Jayson Vayson (No. 12)and Mark Vicelles (No. 15) at light-fly and Melvin Jerusalem (No. 1), Joey Canoy (No. 3), Joseph Sumabong (No. 6), Zyvyr Medecillo (No. 8), Vic Saludar (No. 12) and Shane Gentallan (No. 14) at minimumweight.
Pacquiao, 47, is still in the hunt for a world title crack.
Meanwhile, Jerusalem, who was dethroned by Siyakholwa Kuse last May in South Africa, is on a break and his next fight has yet to be arranged by his promoter JC Mananquil.
