Yannick Tuason's brace triggered Davao Aguilas FC's 5-0 win over Tuloy FC in the Copa Paulino Alcantara at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex Sunday.
Kart Talaroc scored a penalty in the 40th minute before Tuason netted his brace in the 42nd and 63rd minute, respectively to ensure the win for the Aguilas.
Capping Davao's relentless showing was Dmitri Limpo's contribution in the 66th minute and Uriel Dalapo finished the job by joining the scoring fray in the 95th minute in a total domination by the Aguilas.
Davao is now on top of Group C, carrying a 2-0 win-loss record.
Earlier, Club de Futbol Manila delivered a 3-2 victory over Garelli United FC.
CF Manila hit the first goal just 10 minutes gone by in the match on a Mohammad Almohjili's conversion of a penalty before Michael Bedia equalized for Garelli three minutes later.
Lance Locsin (35th) and Mahmod Ali (41st) added two more goals for CF Manila, which took a 3-1 lead at halftime.
John dela Cruz tried to liven up Garelli after he scored in the 82nd minute, but they simply ran out of time to overcome CF Manila's advantage.
Following its latest win, CF Manila moved up in Group A with two victories in as many games.
