"Manny vs Ryan, you know how huge that would be? I'm gonna pursue that and we'll see what the best option is for Ryan," legendary Oscar de la Hoya was quoted as saying in a tweet that went viral Thursday morning.

Dela Hoya promotes Garcia who lost to Gervonta Davis in Round 7 of their April blockbuster fight. There the cocky Garcia, erstwhile unbeaten, crumpled after a body shot Davis, for the telling knockout win.

Pacquiao has not fought since losing to flash-in-the-pan Yordenis Ugas almost two years ago. But he has since been hinting at a comeback after losing the presidential election last year.
