Stablemates Miel Fajardo and Zyvyr Medecilo trained alongside each other and made heads turn at the Elorde Sports Center (ESC) in Sucat, Parañaque.
The two Filipino fighters are scheduled to challenge for world titles on 26 November at the Ebara Wave Arena (Ota City Gymnasium) in Tokyo, Japan.
Fajardo collides with defending champion Masamichi Yabuki, who will be making a mandatory defense of the International Boxing Federation flyweight crown.
Medecilo, meanwhile, clashes with Takeshi Ishii, who will be risking the World Boxing Association minimumweight title for the first time after winning it via a first-round knockout last month.
Fajardo and Medecilo are coming off training camps overseas.
Fajardo, who hails from Agusan del Sur, spent a month in Hong Kong as he and his handlers feared that Manila’s wild weather would disrupt his preparations.
“It was a great move on our part because it is only just recently that the weather improved in Manila,” said RCT Boxing Promotions chief Lennon Tsoi, who manages Fajardo, and also Medecilo.
Medecilo, a native of Koronadal in South Cotabato, spent some time in Toky before heading back to Manila.
Meanwhile, after their training, pound-for-pound star Manny Pacquiao came by to use the training facility and even offered some tips to the two.
Also in attendance was Hong Kong’s premier boxer Rex Tso.
