Yda Manzano, who gained popularity in the sexy genre back in the 90s, is giving acting – and baring – another try.

Now a 40-something single mother, Manzano is giving young stars Micaella Raz and Salome Salvin a run for their money in the Vivamax four-part series "Sex Hub."

"Masaya silang kasama. Feeling ko, kasing-age ko lang sila," Manzano was quoted as saying about her co-stars. "Makikita yung love ng mom since mother na rin ako so I can relate much."

She has indeed gone through a lot. The former Miss Mandaue City experienced not just hardships in her personal but also in her professional life.

After her career slumped, Manzano tried her luck in Japan but it's something that toughened her up.

"Imagine, ang gabi ginagawa naming araw. Sa gabi kami nakikipagtsikahan," she said in an old interview.

Manzano had also famously revealed she underwent breast augmentation under renowned beauty expert Dr. Vicki Belo.
