Akosi Dogie, Z4pnu banner PBA Esports Bakbakan draft

Popular Mobile Legends personalities Setsuna "Akosi Dogie" Ignacio and Billy "Z4pnu" Alfonso were among those who were drafted into the Philippine Basketball Association Esports Bakbakan.

Akosi Dogie, a popular live streamer with 6.59 million subscribers on YouTube, was the top pick of Ginebra while Z4pnu came in as a second pick for TNT.

Another popular streamer Edgar "ChooxTV" Dumali, who parted ways with ONIC PH in MPL Season 10 without playing a single game, was picked up by Blackwater.

The basketball league has tied up with Dark League Studios for the upcoming Esports tournament which will be participated by PBA players, fans, and students alike.

Some of the notable names that made the transition to PBA Esports Bakbakan were former Bren Esports players Coco and L3bron, who were picked by NLEX and Converge respectively.

PBA Esports Bakbakan is slated to begin later this month, 27 February, and will run every Monday.
